Put the Marvin on your desktop. Stick out your thumb to join the most ordinary man in the world on an extra-ordinary adventure across the universe in the hilarious comedy, THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY. Earthman Arthur Dent (MARTIN FREEMAN) is having a very bad day. His house is about to be bulldozed, he discovers that his best friend is an alien and to top things off, and Planet Earth is about to be demolished.
"Perfectly Depressing, hmmmm I'm so depressed!"
Could not have captured the character more completely. Funny lines, expressiveness of the voice, eyes, oddly the whole animation makes this a funny and appealing screen saver.
Could wish that this character could walk out onto the desktop instead of the current white screen. Let it wander around the desktop and examine icons or do its thing. The white is fine but a bit boring.
"Pretty cool. Kinda simple and needs more sound clips."
Looks just like him. Drives my wife nuts too (pro)!
He only has about 5 lines (sound clips). Only works on two of my three desktops (tiple LCD desktop).
"The answer is...42!"
What can be said about Marvin that hasn't already been? He easily steals the show in the movie and the miniseries, so why not have a chronically depressed robot as your screensaver?
About 5 wavs are the only thing wrong with the product in general. The original author of the screensaver should have tried to incorporate several more, or add a random pattern to the audio cycle...it's just a touch too predictable.
